Eden Court re-opened at the weekend after a 2-year refurbishment programme to make it Scotland’s largest arts complex. Graven Images worked closely with PagePark on the design and fit-out of the front of house areas as well as internal and external signage.
We also researched and designed a new public exhibition for the Bishops Palace about the history of the building.
Eden Court is quite unlike any other venue in Scotland, serving an entire region not just a city and presenting an enormous variety of events, including music, drama, dance comedy and cinema. As well as being the only large scale theatre in the North of Scotland, Eden Court is a major conference venue, the only arts cinema in the Highlands and the base for the most extensive education and outreach programme offered by any arts organisation in Scotland.

BBC Pacific Quay had its opening ceremony today — the culmination of two and a half years of work, learning, blood, sweat and tears!
Prime Minister Gordon Brown opened the building officially.
We have designed the interior to encourage and nurture creativity, to inspire staff, and to promote collaboration.
The reception area is open to the public so please go there and play with the interactives, or have a coffee and see if you can spot Dougie Vipond.

We were commissioned by our old friends and clients The Burrell Company to design an exhibition to document and celebrate their 25th anniversary.
These are the guys who were the first architects in Scotland to become developers — and in doing so became a new kind of enlightened client, working with many of the most creative architects in the country. This exhibition accompanies the newly published book, charting their remarkable portfolio of built and un-built projects over the quarter century.
The exhibition runs at the Lighthouse from 24 August until 7 October 2007.

We have just completed the interior design of the Harry Smith complex, an Adult Resource Centre. The centre opens today.
We have collaborated with South Lanarkshire Social Work Department over a number of years, working on a variety of projects such as children’s units, Dementia Care Homes and Resource Centres.
Our objective is always to help de-institutionalise these environments, but also to create practical and effective solutions.
We have created a flexible environment for the service users by day that can also be used as an enjoyable, dynamic environment for the local community to hire; anything from evening receptions to wedding parties.
